Established in 1978 – Opera Opera is one of UK’s last remaining
manufacturer of spectacle frames – now mainly specialising in
custom handmade (bespoke) pieces uniquely designed for an
individual face. In many cases, we make exact or modified copies
of client’s existing frames in different colours. Although we are
able to make contemporary designs our niche is in traditional
British styles which are always in demand from American and
Chinese wearers. Our registered trade mark is ‘Harpers’.
We make our frames at our factory in Perivale where we have
been since mid 80s.
In addition, Opera Opera is also registered at The General Optical
Council as an Optometric business with an appointment only
based practice in Fitzrovia.
To January 2016, for 35 years our practice was situated in Long
Acre, Covent Garden at the corner of Endell Street close to The
Royal Opera House – hence the name Opera Opera.
